Anicinabe Park features a modern washroom facility designed for comfort and convenience. This “Comfort Station” is cleaned at least twice daily to ensure a pleasant experience. If you notice any maintenance or cleanliness issues, please notify our staff promptly.

All of our taps are on the City of Kenora water utility system and are tested. The water is potable unless otherwise posted.

Lake of the Woods is the 36th largest lake in the world by area! It’s located in Canada and the United States. It’s over 110kms long and wide with 14,552 islands.

Kenora and Lake of the Woods are renowned for excellent freshwater fishing. Anglers can expect to find species such as walleye, northern pike, smallmouth and largemouth bass, lake trout, crappie, perch, and muskellunge (muskie). The area hosts popular fishing tournaments throughout the season, attracting anglers from all over. Whether you’re fishing from shore, boat, or ice, the Kenora region offers rewarding experiences for all skill levels. And did you know? Canadian residents aged 65 and older do not require an Ontario fishing license. Simply carry government-issued ID showing your name and date of birth while fishing—your ID serves as your license. All sport fishing seasons, quotas, and limits still apply. Thank you Ontario. What a great way to encourage grandparents and grandchildren to fish together!

Yes, the campground offers Wi‑Fi, but coverage and speed can vary across the property. The Wifi is designed for basic email and website functions-not for streaming.
